The 2022 winner of the Riga Jazz Stage international jazz voice competition, Louise has been hailed as one of the UK’s finest vocal improvisers and storytellers, with fans including jazz cream-of-the-crop Liane Carroll, Ian Shaw, Claire Martin and Leroy Jones. Most recently, she's been appearing with celebrated vocal harmony trio The Puppini Sisters, and was also featured with Adrian Cox at our annual Jazz on the Lawn show this summer (where she was absolutely sensational)! Along with her band (Rob Barron-piano, Theo Malka-Wishart-bass, Jonathan Bauer-trumpet/vocals and Joshua Walker-Martin-drums) Louise will be performing songs from her debut album “First Class”, as well as her celebrated original vocalese. With their undeniable synergy, the group breathes new life into repertoire from the golden age of jazz and beyond.
